Encrypted message content
Ambera’s current messaging implementation encrypts new message content and supported attachments on the sending device before sending them. Authorized recipient devices need the relevant keys to decrypt that content.
Conversation membership, delivery records, and other metadata are separate from message content. Older messages may use earlier formats. Encryption for messaging does not mean that all profile, health, billing, or support-form information is end-to-end encrypted.
Device keys matter
A new browser, private browsing session, or cleared browser storage may not have the keys needed for older messages. Signing in verifies account access but does not guarantee that every old encrypted message can be recovered on a new device.
If messages are available on another trusted device, keep that device and its app data intact while you contact support. Never send encryption keys or browser-storage exports to support.
Sharing has practical limits
Recipients can retain copies of content they have already received. Ending a care relationship or changing a sharing choice cannot recall screenshots or downloaded copies. Review the recipient before sending.
