Create or edit your plan
Open Tools → Birth Preferences. Families can choose Edit preferences or Continue draft. On the web, use Save draft to keep working privately, or Save official plan to update the plan shared with your care team.
Authorized professionals can view the plan and use Suggest changes when permitted. Families can open Review suggestions and version history to review the available proposals and previous versions.
Your linked care team sees the full official plan
An active linked care-team member can see the entire official birth plan. Do not rely on older answer-level visibility choices to hide an answer from linked care professionals. An unfinished personal draft is separate from the official plan.
Unlinking removes active linked access to the plan under the shared permission rules. Files that someone has already downloaded or copied cannot be recalled remotely.
Discuss the plan with your care professional
Birth preferences communicate what matters to you. Review them directly with your care professional; a saved plan does not guarantee a particular medical outcome or replace clinical discussion.
