Add an attachment on the web

1. Open the intended conversation and select Add attachment.
2. Choose Photos, Document, Camera, or Voice message from the available controls.
3. Select a file or record your attachment. Grant camera or microphone access only if you want to use that feature.
4. Review the draft attachment, then select Send message.

Voice messages

Start a voice recording, then use Stop recording to turn it into a draft attachment. Review the recording before sending. Cancel discards the current recording; removing a draft attachment does not delete an already-sent message.

Size and permissions

Choose a file smaller than 100 MB in the current web composer. Browser permissions and supported media formats can affect camera, audio, and playback. Attachments use the messaging encryption flow; they are not uploaded through this Help Center’s contact form.
