Review the relationship first
Clients can review their active primary and backup Care Team members in Your care team and remove connections using the available controls. Primary and backup relationships remain distinct; review the relationship and the effect shown before confirming a change.
Ending a care relationship changes active-care access. Coordinate ongoing care directly with your professional or client before changing the connection. This is an account action, not a clinical handoff.
End a relationship on the web
- Families: open Account → Your care team. Professionals: open Clients and select the client.
- Open End this care relationship.
- Read the effect shown, confirm the relationship change, and select Move to previous care.
- Check the previous-care list after the action completes.
What changes
The action moves active relationships between you and that person to previous care. It does not delete the client account or automatically erase historical records. Active-care access ends according to the shared permission rules, and primary capacity is released when the assignment is no longer active.
Ending a relationship does not cancel a professional subscription. Related backup assignments may end when their qualifying primary ends.
